Hi everyone,
Hi,
I enabled GitHub Copilot Pro today through the Student Developer Pack. However, I am encountering an issue where I am already hitting the usage limit.
I only used Copilot for around 1 hour after activation, and now I am getting the error:
“You’ve hit your global rate limit.”
Additionally:
Even simple prompts are failing
This seems incorrect given the very limited usage after activation. It feels like either:
The quota has not been properly initialized
Or there is a delay/sync issue with the Copilot Pro activation
I have already tried:
Restarting VS Code
Signing out and signing back into GitHub
Could you please verify whether my Copilot Pro plan is fully activated and if my premium request quota has been correctly assigned?
Thank you.
