Issue: Persistent "Rate limit exceeded" error when connecting GitHub, even after deleting all previous repos and waiting overnight
I already deleted all the old repos, not still can't connect due to Rate Limit Exceed, please guide me what to do.

Deleting repos won't fix rate limiting - rate limits are tied to your API token/IP, not the number of repos you have.

Here's how to diagnose and fix:

1. Check your current rate limit status:

This shows your remaining requests and when the limit resets.

2. Common causes:

• Unauthenticated requests - Only 60 requests/hour. Always use a token for 5,000/hour.
• A tool or app hammering the API - Check if you have any CI/CD, IDE extensions, or apps making frequent API calls.
• Secondary rate limits - GitHub has abuse detection that can throttle you even within the normal limit if you make too many concurrent requests.

3. Fixes:

• Wait for the rate limit to reset (check the reset timestamp from the command above)
• Use authenticated requests everywhere
• If you're using GitHub Desktop or VS Code, try signing out and back in
• Check if any GitHub Apps or OAuth apps on your account are making excessive calls: Settings > Applications > Authorized OAuth Apps

The rate limit resets every hour. If it persists beyond that, it's likely an application continuously burning through your quota.
